What We Collect

To cast your reading, The Old Sage requires: your full name at birth, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, and an email address where your reading will be delivered. We collect nothing beyond what is necessary to serve you.

How We Use Your Information

Your birth details are used solely to compute your astrological profile and generate your personal reading. We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your information with any third party for any commercial purpose.

Payments

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. The Old Sage does not receive, store, or have access to your payment card details.

Data Storage

Your personal information is stored on a secured server. Access is restricted to the operators of The Old Sage and is not shared externally.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the basis of contract performance. Your name, birth date, time of birth, and place of birth are necessary to provide the reading you have purchased. We collect nothing beyond what is required to deliver the service.

Data Retention

Order records are retained for three years for accounting and legal purposes. Your birth details form part of your personal report, a copy of which is delivered to you at the email address you provide.

Third-Party Processing

To deliver your reading, your name and birth details are processed by a third-party service provider in the United States under standard contractual safeguards. Your data is used solely to generate your reading and is not retained by the provider for any other purpose. Payments are processed by Razorpay. The Old Sage does not receive or store your payment card details.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with this website. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent, which you can provide or withdraw using the banner shown on your first visit. If you consent, Google Analytics collects anonymised data including pages visited, time spent on site, and general geographic location. You can also opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Your Rights

If you are based in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data protection legislation, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at sage@theoldsage.in and we will respond within 30 days.
